The Last Guardian: Ist noch in Entwicklung und wird “re-engineered”

In einem neuen Interview mit Sony’s Head of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida kamen gute Neuigkeiten ans Licht: Team Ico’s The Last Guardian ist noch in Entwicklung und wird momentan „re-engineered“, möglicherweise für die PlayStation 4.

Yoshida sagte in einem Interview mit GamesIndustry International:
“So, we’re waiting for the right time to re-introduce The Last Guardian in an appropriate way. I can’t… Well, the game is in development, and it’s well staffed, and [Ico creator Fumito] Ueda-san is here, working – even though he’s not a Sony employee, he’s dedicated to the product. But we’re not ready to update yet.”

Er gab auch einen interessanten Kommentar von sich, als er gefragt wurde, für welches System das Spiel erscheinen wird. Zuerst wollte er sich nicht speziell dazu äußern, sagte aber dann: “They’re going through the re-engineering of the game, so the team size is smaller, because it’s more engineering focused right now.”

Das sind wirklich sehr gute Neuigkeiten, da das Spiel schon für tot erklärt wurde!
