Ubisoft hat mit Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4 und The Crew drei große AAA-Titel für den PC am Start, die in den nächsten Monaten erscheinen werden, aber diese werdet ihr nicht in eure Steam-Bibliothek hinzufügen können.
Ubisoft hat die Spiele in England, USA, Australien und Deutschland aus dem Steam-Shop entfernt, zuvor konnte man sich die Spiele dort noch vorbestellen. Ältere Games wie beispielsweise Far Cry 3 sind aber noch bei Steam zu finden. Ubisoft hat noch keine offizielle Stellungnahme veröffentlicht, ein Reddit-User erhielt aber eine Antwort bezogen auf Assassin’s Creed Unity:
“Chris @ Ubisoft Support 2014-11-06 19:33 GMT At this time Steam has removed the purchase option for Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Unfortunately we do not have the information as to why they have removed the ability. Usually these issues are caused by purchasing problems and are resolved quickly. For more information, I would recommend contacting Steam’s support team to verify at what time the option to purchase will be returned.”
Auch Valve äußerte sich noch nicht zu dem Vorfall. Die Spiele sind aktuell nur über den Uplay-Shop erhältlich.
Das denken wir:
Will Ubisoft weg von Steam? Sieht ganz danach aus. Ich persönlich bin ganz zufrieden mit Steam und brauche nicht noch eine zweite Plattform, wie beispielsweise Origin.
