Microsoft hat mit einem Post auf Xbox Wire verkündet, dass in den ersten 18 Tagen weltweit mehr als zwei Millionen Xbox One-Konsolen verkauft wurden.
Yusuf Mehdi – Xbox Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Marketing – schrieb: “We continue to be humbled and overwhelmed by the positive response from our fans. We are thrilled to see sales of Xbox One on a record-setting pace, with over 2 million Xbox One consoles in homes around the world.”
Laut Microsoft wurden außerdem bisher mehr als 39 Millionen Achievements freigeschaltet und Spieler haben sich 595 Millionen Gamerscore verdient.
Mehdi sagte weiter: “We’re also particularly excited to see consumers engaging in a wide range of games and entertainment experiences on the platform, with more than 1 million paid transactions on Xbox Live to date.“
Sony hatte letzte Woche berichtet, dass seit dem Launch am 15. November mehr als 2,1 Millionen PlayStation 4-Konsolen verkauft wurden.
