Yusuf Mehdi – Xbox Corporate VP of Marketing, Strategy, and Business – hat eine Liste der Spiele veröffentlicht, die noch 2014 für die Xbox One erscheinen sollen. Dort wird kein neues Halo Spiel aufgelistet. Dafür gibt es aber einen guten Grund und zwar wurde der Name des Games bisher noch nicht offiziell bekannt gegeben.
Rob Semsey, PR Manager der Halo und Forza Franchises, äußerte sich dazu auf Twitter:
Xbox Wire today mentioned a few 2014 titles; Halo on Xbox One not listed due to official name of the next title not announced yet.

Wir dürfen also wohl doch noch dieses Jahr mit einem neuen Halo-Titel rechnen, wir bleiben optimistisch.
