Eigentlich sollte Tom Clancy’s The Division ja noch in diesem Jahr erscheinen. Seit Wochen kursieren aber nun schon Gerüchte im Netz, dass der Titel auf nächstes Jahr verschoben wird. Diese Gerüchte haben sich nun leider bestätigt.
Ubisoft hat via tomclancy-thedivision.ubi.com verkündet, dass die Entwickler noch etwas mehr Zeit für das Spiel benötigen. Schließlich soll die Qualität des Spiels nicht durch eine zu kurze Entwicklungszeit leiden.

Today we announced that Tom Clancy’s The Division will be available in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it’s ready.

Da habe ich mich auch schon voll drauf gefreut. Hoffentlich dürfen wir wenigstens auf der Gamescom selber mal zocken!
