Crytek’s Free-to-Play Shooter Warface ist nun auch bei Steam verfügbar.
Warface Franchise Director Hasit Zala schreibt in einer Stellungnahme:
“Bringing Warface to Steam paves the way for a new audience to discover the game’s engrossing cooperative and competitive action; completely for free.”
“As well as putting the power of CryEngine to work, Warface draws on Crytek’s FPS expertise to ensure players are immersed in the heat of battle – whether they’re jumping in for a quick game with friends or dedicating more time to the game’s extensive multiplayer modes.”
Das Spiel war vorher über Crytek’s Gface Launcher verfügbar. Seit dem Release in Russland im April 2012 konnte das Spiel mehr als 25 Millionen registrierte Spieler verzeichnen. Im März startete die Open Beta der Xbox 360-Version.

Steam ist eine weit verbreitete und beliebte Plattform, so wird auch Warface noch mehr Spieler finden.
